UPDATE

In the last post, I discussed waiting until our return from this quest to write about it. But……shit got real. So I was able to launch this little update so that if we don’t make it back, folks will know our story! More updates to come live from the Coast to Coast!

I’m back on a boat!

about damn time

So we set sail on the quest that Albrek contacted us about.

After that creepy meeting (not meeting 🤔) at the Snapping Line, we met back up the next morning out at the docks. We had a nice conversation with Albrek. Turns out he used to be reach dude. But he lost all his money. It was stored in a magical chest on his ship - Emperor of the Ways. After missing for 10 years, it has been spotted south east of Salt Marsh. So for a hefty sum of $10 ,000 gold we agreed to help this dude out! Who doesn’t like an adventure on the high seas!!!! ☠️

Three days out to sea

Damn it feels good. I wrote a killer tune on the ‘ol pan flute this morning. It slaps. Maybe I’ll post it to my sound cloud next time I find myself in the studio to lay it down.

Anyway - back to the sea.

For the most part - pleasant trip out. Dodged a few dark spots in the water. We also encountered a few Harpies. What a pain in the ass they are. A few of the crew got duped by their “song”. I put song in quotes because well….it isn’t that good. Why people get duped is beyond me. A lot people just don’t know what good music sounds like 😛

We even came across a ship wreck! But we should stick to the mission on hand and get out to the Emporer of the Ways. So hopefully on the way back we can scope it out for some treasure 🤑

Now - time for a cocktail and some fishing!
